Know Your ROUTE
MAN
Knowing your route
man is to your advantage. All our service men have beepers and through Rebel’s
answering service, a route man can be reached Monday through Friday from 7:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. When you call in for a “same day” cancellation, tell the
answering service the route man’s name, so he can be contacted immediately. On
“same day” cancellations, if you will be back later during the day, please let
us know. This could save us time and money if we are still in the
area.
In the past,
customers would call and ask for Skip on same day cancellations. This does not
get to the route man and serves no purpose. So, please get to know your route
man and his name.
Cancelling
& Rescheduling service
Please try to
keep your scheduled appointment.
If, however, an emergency arises,
please call the answering service, give them your route man’s name, and we will
call you to reschedule.
As of 11-1-89, Rebel
Exterminators will charge $10.00 to customers who miss scheduled appointments
without notification. We at Rebel pride ourselves on promptness, politeness and
doing our job well, and keeping your exterminating costs down. When a route man
is not notified that a customer will not be home, we lose time and money sitting
in front of someone’s home waiting. We appreciate your understanding of this
situation and would regret having to take such measures.
Rescheduling:
Same day cancellations, please call the
answering service at 491-3759 and have them page your service man. Vacations,
out of town, change of time, etc., please call 491-3759 or 491-1524 between
2:00-5:00 p.m. All of the service men have beepers and can be reached throughout
the day.
7:00-8:00
a.m. Customers:
Rescheduling customers at this time is very difficult due to the demand, so
please make accommodations to make your times.

Key
Accounts:
Rebel
Exterminators maintains over 500 key customers. If you are comfortable with your
service man, especially those early customers or Saturday customers, and would
like to consider becoming a key account, it would help tremendously. Please
contact myself or your service man.
Phone
Calls:
Most people,
after a hard day’s work, can go home and relax. We at Rebel Exterminators have
customers that need to be reminded of their service day.We don’t mind it, but
when you are called the night before and the appointment has been acknowledged
over the phone and you don’t show up, this defeats the purpose of the service we
are trying to provide.
Effective
immediately, there will be a $10.00 service charge for appointments made that
the service technician was not able to service because you did not show
up.
Vacations:
Please let us know when you are
planning to be out of town and won’t be around for your scheduled appointment.
Rebel Exterminators provides good service at a good price, we try to maintain a
prompt schedule for the most part, but when a technician sits in front of your
home waiting on you and then is informed by a neighbor that you are out of town
or on vacation, then we have waited for no reason and may cause the next
appointment to be late. We try to keep prices down by servicing you when we are
in the area, so please communicate with us.
Special
Appointments:
Doctors,
dentists, etc. If you have an appointment at the same time you are scheduled for
service, your service man can probably catch up with you sometime during the day
while he is in the area, if you let them know. Illness of course is
understandable.
Allergies:
Please inform your service man of any
allergies you might have been experiencing when your home is serviced. We have
special chemicals to deal with customers who have severe allergies. All
insecticides that we use in your home are completely safe for you and your
family.
Complaint
Calls:
We try to handle
complaints the same day. It would help us to have work phone numbers, so that
when a problem occurs, we can address it ASAP and schedule a convenient time to
take care of the problem. So please leave a number with the service man where we
can reach you during the day.
Lawn
Spraying:
Please
contact me at the office for the lawn spray company we recommend.
Termite
Inspection:
I recommend
the following: Taylor & Turner 564-4301 or Rid It Pest Control 563-8860. You
should have a visual inspection about once every three to five
years.
